Mars, station 248.

Ilsa has fled Earth with her husband, Reza, and nine-year-old daughter, Remmy, to settle on the harsh and arid terrain of a Martian outpost. With nothing but a few crops and a domesticated robot named Steve, the family clings to hope for a better life. But when a group of armed assailants appear in the surrounding hills and attempt to run them off, Remmy is faced with the desperate reality her parents have tried so hard to keep from her.
